Ariel B 11/13/2020 (Feedback from a student shadowing DR. INUKA MIDHA from EMORY UNIVERSITY as part of EMORY ALUMNI Mentorship program). Dr. Inuka Midha graduated from ROLLINS SCHOOL OF PUBLIC HEALTH, EMORY UNIVERSITY in 2006 with honors and taught several undergraduate PUBLIC HEALTH seminars in CHRONIC DISEASE PREVENTION among a diversity of refugee and immigrant populations.
I am a student at Emory University and had the opportunity to observe one of Dr. Inuka Midha's classes. I had a great time learning about the program and hearing from participants. One of my favorite aspects of the class was how interactive it was! By fostering a judgment-free and supportive atmosphere, Dr. Inuka paved the way for an open and honest conversation. Even on a virtual platform, everyone on the call was actively engaged and happy to participate. By attending even just one session, I could see how impactful and beneficial this course is. Committing oneself to Dr. Inuka's program is one of the best steps a prediabetic individual can take for their own wellbeing.
