PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The program empowers patients with prediabetes to take charge of their health and well being. The participants meet in groups with a trained lifestyle coach. These are NOT exercise classes. At these sessions patients learn ways to incorporate healthier eating and moderate physical activity, as well as problem-solving, stress reduction and coping skills into their daily lives.
Prediabetes Fact: Older Adults (>60 yrs) with prediabetes can reduce their risk of getting diabetes upto 71% by participating in this program and achieving 5-7% weight loss.
Registry of CDC Approved Programs

Our clinic achieved this status under the recently released 2018 DPRP standards.
